As the Director of Product and Strategy Communications, you will lead on the creation of our product communications vision and strategy for EMEA for all our information, advertising, hardware, and ecosystem products. This will include driving major, region-wide moments on our priority products. You will also drive forward an agenda of innovation on the communications team in EMEA as we shift to new ways of communicating and adapting our approach to our channels, media outreach, social, and integrated campaigning.
You’ll also partner with our Corporate Communications lead and team to develop coordinated plans across policy issues, product launches, and proactive campaigns. Crucially this work will include working alongside the EMEA team lead to develop and execute on the strategy for the future of Google communications in EMEA, and the subsequent management and development of the Product and Strategy team.
You are a forward-thinking and decisive communicator who can collaborate across Google, who isn’t stuck in the traditional ways of communicating. You have excellent writing skills and an ability to learn fast, are a creative problem solver and a compelling storyteller capable of earning trust, providing consistently sound judgment and driving the team towards your future vision.
