The Developer/Animator/Production Artist is responsible for the production of digital, design and development assets for the International Estate (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific). Accountable for research and delivery of new technologies that meet the needs of the organisation and its client base. Responsible for the production of varied creative outputs ranging from digital to more traditional offline channels: digital banners, collateral, social, print, video editing, video production and animation. The role brings scale and efficiency to the creation of assets. The final checkpoint in the creative design process maximising skills in design, typography and desktop applications to create, correct and review production-ready files for the delivery of all print and digital designs. The candidate should be extremely comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Essential to this role is solid working knowledge of After Effects to produce varied animation output and the ability to produce HTML5 animation.

Position Summary:
This role will be required to collaborate with The Studio Sr. Manager, The Studio Manager and Account Executives to maintain and meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Proficient experience with HTML5 along with previous HTML versions
  • Strong understanding of CSS and JavaScript
  • Hands on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Creating storyboards that depict the script and narrative
  • Ability to select and edit music to complement video projects
  • Working alone or as part of a broader team, which might include liaising with copywriters, photographers, designers or developers.
  • Creative thinking, dynamic problem-solving and superior storytelling abilities to ensure careful attention is given to timing, continuity, and artistic vision.
  • Conscientious asset management to organize and manage footage/assets, saving & maintaining files on company servers, and integrity of project files according to standard studio workflow processes.
  • Designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects in the animation environment
  • Strong proficiency in all aspects of creating finished projects with Adobe Creative Cloud, working within Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Greensock.
  • Knowledge of third-party plug-ins and digital video and audio file formats
  • Ability to edit video content for multi-platform use and distribution, including online, broadcast, and social media channels Ability to add various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters, and graphics)
  • Working to production deadlines and meeting clients’ requirements
  • Liaising with clients and developing animation from the concept stage
  • Proficient in technologies that support responsive web design and mobile.
  • Knowledge of various content management systems
  • Awareness of cross browser and device compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Understanding of natural search engine optimization development and opportunities
  • Awareness of accessibility guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of web standards and brand standards
  • Optimise content for search engine visibility, “crawlability”, indexation and ranking (SEO).
  • Implement quality control — Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines; Proof and review all work before releasing; Final check for flaws in the form and functionality of design; check the design for visual missteps

Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a professional, postproduction, ecommerce, or agency environment.
  • HTML5 (and previous HTML versions), CSS and JavaScript
  • Keyword research & search engine tools
  • MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Keen interest in ideas development
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator and After Effects
  • A knack for storytelling
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
