Location – Europe (ideally UK or Germany but other countries considered)

The role of Global Director of HR DataManagementwill lead the divisional Global HR Data Quality & Innovation team to meet global, regional and local needs pertaining to HR data about our people and organization. It will have ownership for HR data management for strategic HR systems, HR Shared Data Hub and other global applications with HR data management needs.

You will be required to create and implement the HR data management strategy, leveraging HR process and systems subject matter expertise and best practice data design principles to ensure effective transaction processing, data integrity (completeness, accuracy), and data quality that meets management reporting and cross-functional process automation needs. Lead entire team of global virtual and direct-line resources. Interacts regularly with HR BPO leadership, senior HR leadership and the HR IT Development team.

You will also drive accountability and delivers proactive automation of low-risk repetitive data administration, driving residual routine data management to HR Shared Services where possible. As needed, provides direct line management leadership to shared services HR data management delivery teams within the division. Contributes a high level of subject matter expertise for the Organization and Business Structure subject area within the Workforce Administration BPO process tower.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Facilitateeffective transition of low-risk, routine HR data management tasks to shared services. Ensures quality HR data management service delivery processes.
  • Interface and Concurrent Request (batch jobs) Data Monitoring - Ensures global consistency in processes. Accepts and implements new requests for data monitoring.
  • Issue Resolution – Assists with universal HR-data related issues. Helps to escalate as needed.
  • Patch testing (system change) – Ensures global consistency in the process for testing data implications of system changes (commonly referred to as "patches").
  • 'Manages and develops global HR data team members and their skills / skill levels. Identifies new skill requirements, identifies training, supports team in training plan development and ensures consistent progress against development plans.

What do we need from you?

  • Significant HRIS experience
  • Substantial human resources experience at a senior level
  • Proven track record working with data management principles
  • Experience managing HR programs and processes within an HR system (i.e. setting up employee life cycle processes, developing HR data flow requirements for system-to-system communications, working closely with IT to define functional HR requirements for data interfaces, etc.)
  • Experience in people management directly: mentoring, leading and developing people
  • Experience in leading large scale, global HR initiatives
  • Multi-country experience would be ideal
