We seek a committed Careers Advisor to join our Student Services team, who will develop and deliver a range of Careers guidance services for young people and adults wishing to enter all fields of education, training and employment in line with internal quality standards, Matrix and OFSTED requirements.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has significant proven experience in careers advice and guidance. You will have a good understanding of the Further Education and Higher Education sectors, skilled in the use of computer aided guidance resources, possess good oral and written communication and excellent presentational skills. It is essential that you have a Diploma in Career Guidance or NVQ level 6 in Guidance.
We are looking for someone who is well-organised and has the ability to create rapport with learners and to inspire trust and confidence.
This post is a Full Time position however Job share can be considered. Please specify in your supporting statement if you are interested in Job Share and how many hours a week preferred.

Hours: 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday; or Job Share would be considered (Days/Hours can be discussed). This is a Term Time only post working 35 weeks per year
Salary: based on FTE of £24,290 - £26,030 p.a. (Actual Salary £19,225.54 - £20,602.75 p.a. or pro rata if Job Share) depending on qualifications and experience
Annual Leave: You will receive annual leave entitlement of 25 days (pro rata) that is incorporated into your salary payment.
