Job Purpose

Manage the body wash, hand soap and under arm protection segments to deliver all KPIs including net sales, share, and margin objectives.

Take responsibility for specific marketing projects and deliverables in the marketing team.

Main Responsibilities

Portfolio and Project Responsibility

  • Manage the body wash, hand soap and under arm protection portfolios for Northern Europe to achieve Net sales, margin, profit and share targets.
  • Lead Development & Alignment of mid-year review & budget review process for the category.
  • Prepare monthly KPI performance review for the category, and provide required information and analysis
  • Coordinate cross country market analysis and insights / information gathering. Communicate all risks and opportunities within portfolio responsibility on a timely basis to Group Brand Manager.
  • Manage GTM process including collaboration with the central brand team in providing necessary country input for NE. Lead hub/country portfolio evolution and recommendations, gateway process and presentations to directors, demand planning, P&L creation and validation and 5P launch.
  • Manage the development of ‘path to purchase’ plans, for example Brand Activation, PR or other, including post campaign analysis.
  • Manage advertising and promotions budget for the category, using key processes including ASM and Ebuy.
  • Manage agencies to ensure proposals are delivered according to set objectives, KPIs and to budget
  • Manage product artwork and SKU development and approval processes across NE Hub.
  • Work with the shopper team to implement Brand Activation programmes as part of shopper marketing process for the category.
  • Ensure timely communication as required with key internal stakeholders on category issues or activities (Retail Marketing, Customer Development, CS&L, Finance, Consumer Affairs, Consumer Insights, Division Marketing, and Country GMs).
  • Own the development of the annual brand plan for their portfolio and ensure full stakeholder buy-in.
  • Support the Group Brand Manager in the development of Revenue Growth and category growth plans and the mid-year review and annual budget process. Lead specific development & alignment of mid-year review & budget review presentation for the toothbrush category.
  • Represent brand at external tier 1&2 retailer meetings (key meetings only - eg brand plans, vision)

Project Responsibility (including but not limited to)

  • Marketing lead for assigned ‘expertise’ projects
  • NE Innovation Go To Market lead incl Gateway process
  • European Go To Market team member and/or lead (where applicable)
  • Monthly NE SOM & Financial reporting and commentary

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Marketing
  • Highly competent commercial and analytical skills
