The Leadership and Lifelong Learning Team in the east of England is part of the People Directorate within NHS England and Improvement and works within a Leadership Academy model to support Leadership Development, Talent Management and NHS Graduate Management Training.
The team deliver outstanding Leadership and Talent development, at all levels across the health and care workforce in support of the NHS People Plan.
The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) is a multi-award-winning scheme, where trainees benefit from mentoring, support, and first-class training from some of the most brilliant minds in and outside the NHS. There are six specialisms within the Scheme – preparing trainees for fulfilling careers within finance management, general management, health analysis, health informatics, human resources and policy and strategy. The Scheme is coordinated nationally and regionally, with trainees undertaking a combination of education, training and work-based placements.
The regional GMTS team where this vacancy sits are responsible for engaging with organisations across the local health and care system to source, design and support fantastic placement opportunities for east of England trainees. We also provide training for our programme and placement managers within the service who work directly with the trainees, ensuring everyone is equipped and supported to develop future leaders who are values driven, innovative and committed to providing a world-class health service.
We are seeking a self-motivated, driven professional to join our team as our GMTS Leadership Development Administrator working 4 day per week to support local delivery of the Scheme.
Our successful candidate will be a highly organised, experienced and flexible administrator, capable of using their own skills and expertise to provide co-ordination and support to enable successful delivery of the Scheme.
In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative services; including for example, the co-ordination of events in line with team processes, preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.
In addition, supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary.
You will be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, a natural ability to plan ahead, be keen to apply and grow your excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels. You will also be highly competent in various MS Office applications.

Hours: 12 hours Days or Nights Shift.
Salary: Â£9.13 - Â£12.06 per hour depends on a Shift and Grade.
