Multimedia Designers
What you¿ll do As a talented multimedia designer with extensive experience using a wide range of specialist design packages, you¿ll plan and deliver student centric multimedia content that will display a strong visual aesthetic and offer the best possible user experience for Ulster University. You¿ll be a valued member of an experienced and supportive team of design creatives within an innovative and fast-paced unit. You will work closely with our in-house graphic designers and other creative professionals to design and produce high-end visual, textual, and animated content. You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of multimedia design projects that consistently reflect Ulster¿s brand including web design, social media content, HTML e-zines, Banner Ads, videos, gifs, brochures, trade show graphics, newsletters, screen displays, print advertising, signage, email templates, online advertisements, podcasts and much more. Delivering for a wide range of clients, including a theatre, restaurant, sports centre, bar, global recruitment and more. You will: -
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns, material and publications designed to entice and engage audiences, using a wide range of expert multimedia design skills and technology
  • Combine text, audio, animation, photography, and video to create informational and impactful content
  • Work collaboratively with clients across the university to develop high-quality briefs and lead on an extensive range of critical projects to support the achievement of Ulster¿s strategic goals
  • Create graphics, animations, and special effects, as well as editing photos, audio, and video using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Collaborate with other multimedia designers to brainstorm creative concepts and create project mock-ups
- Use active listening skills and constructive criticism to fine-tune your work -Prioritise tasks based on deadline proximity
  • Share knowledge of tools and techniques with your team
