Position Summary
The Nestlé Health Science team are recruiting for an experienced and talented Brand Manager. This role will include responsibilities for management of the Enteral Nutrition and ONS platform and associated brands. They will be responsible for defining brand strategy and building long-term plans to achieve ambitions aligned with the wider company vision. They will be an ambassador for the brands throughout the organisation so will also need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and enjoy working in a high-energy and exciting environment.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager
As a Brand Manager at Nestlé Health Science you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Brand Manager in the successful management of the brand plans for Enteral Nutrition & ONS brands including digital activities and Sales Force plans. You will also:
  • Contribute to the definition and management of the long-term local brand ambition, objectives and strategies; having been a key contributor to the process that defines the wider strategy
  • Manage the yearly brand planning process, ensuring all plans are supported by the necessary data and are fully aligned to wider European and Global plans where relevant. In conjunction with the SBM where appropriate to deliver the presentation/sell-in of the plans to internal (Leadership and Commercial Teams) and the Sales Force
  • Have a good understanding of brand P&L and the role the Brand Plan plays in the finances of the wider organisation
  • Manage the brand budget efficiently with a deep understanding of the impact within the wider P&L
  • Closely monitor industry and competitor activity, as well as brand performance, to ensure plans are maintained and adapted to a constantly changing, competitive Medical Nutrition environment
  • Deliver best in class NPD launch plans across the portfolio; ensuring maximum launch impact and continued post-launch support and evaluation in order to ensure delivery of key KPI’s/targets.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the UK Medical Nutrition market and understanding of the market dynamics and evolving NHS landscape
  • Build a strong understanding of Medical Nutrition channels and understand how to develop multi channel and omnichannel plans
  • Manage administration and governance of the brand such as regulatory, budgets, project management, Sales Force materials etc.
  • Development of detailed presentations and ability to present to senior leadership teams and Global teams
  • Regular contact and working relationship with Global stakeholders

What will make you successful
The successful candidate will already be an established Brand Manager with the ability to lead across wide cross functional teams. They will have experience in Medical Nutrition as well as experience of influencing at senior levels within an organisation. They will also:
  • Have strong presentation & influencing skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders
  • Be self-starting with the ability to run sizable projects and workstreams with limited hands-on line manager support
  • Have experience of communicating with HealthCare Professionals
  • Strong data analysis – market trends, marketing campaigns and sales force results
  • Confident in financial control – budgets and understanding of P&L

The successful candidate may also have sales experience in a relevant field and be looking to step into Marketing.
