Position Snapshot Line Operator Nestlé York Factory York Fixed Term Contract - 12 months (with more permanent opportunity depending on performance)
  • Salary – between £30,000 – £33,000 depending on shift pattern
  • Hrs per week average 39 – 42 hrs depending on department (opportunity to job share if more flexibility is required)
  • Shifts – 12.08 (12 hrs plus 5min handovers) hr shifts covering days and nights all days in the week

Position Summary

We are looking for Line Operators to join our Nestlé Confectionery factory at our York site to support the production department. These positions are for 12 months on a fixed term contract basis and depending on performance has the potential to become a permanent role in the future with the worlds largest food and beverage business.

The makers of KitKat, Aero, Toffee Crisps & Polo Mints are looking for help supporting the production team doing a variety of roles around the factory – working as part of a manufacturing team to create our confectionery products, monitoring quality of products, work as part of a production to team to operate packing machines whilst adhering to the highest safety and food hygiene standards.
