Brand Manager - Bisto, Saxa & Cape Herb & Spice
Based in St Albans with flexibility to WFH

Opportunity for a passionate, talented and ambitious Brand Manager to join the Flavouring & Seasoning (F&S) Marketing team at Premier Foods. You will be working for Britain’s 2nd largest food company, owning & supporting the largest portfolio within our Grocery business (Bisto, Saxa & the newly launched Cape Herb & Spice brands – circa £165m RSV). Bisto, is a crown jewel - our ambition is to deliver continued outperformance and the role involves developing and delivering transformational plans to build Bisto - the Nations favourite gravy brand, into a modern British savoury meal making brand and not just within gravy!

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate solid brand marketing experience with strong consumer orientation, balanced with excellent commercial awareness and a “can-do” attitude. A passion for food is desired but not essential.

What you'll be doing:
This is a high-profile and important role for the business; you will have responsibility for managing and executing Innovation (NPD & EPD), working with cross functional internal & external teams to identify opportunities, manage brand performance, present plans& gain internal alignment with key stakeholders
Exciting opportunity to work alongside our advertising and media agencies to participate in the development of Iconic communications for Bisto, capable of driving brand engagement, purchase intent and penetration.
Support the Controller to develop and deliver brand plans which will deliver our vision and strategy against our identified category drivers. You will have specific responsibility for leading several key brand projects (especially in Trend Led, emergent areas) and directing the cross functional team to develop inspiring marketing plans.
Own and lead growth & innovation plans for our Herbs and Spices portfolio (Saxa & Cape, herb & spice). The Cape Herb & Spice brand has recently been launched in the UK – and the expectation is for the candidate to drive strong double digit YoY growth behind exciting and continued innovation, in addition to development and execution of holistic support plans. The role reports into the Marketing Controller – Bisto, Saxa & CHS
