Job Description

This role sits within tombola’s busy Marketing Department. The Marketing Assistant will contribute to deliver the business’s aspirations to consolidate and further grow its position as market leader in the UK.
The Marketing Assistant reports to the Marketing Manager and this role will offer wide exposure across a variety of marketing channels for both bingo and arcade.
The role offers an opportunity to develop tactical skills within both off and online marketing within this highly competitive, dynamic and growing market.
The entails working closely with key stake holders across the business including technical, product and customer services to continue to drive tombola's acquisition and build market share within the broader gaming market.
Responsibilities:

  • Support the Marketing Executive with affiliate marketing tasks and offline marketing activities
  • Work with the Community and Product team to support promotions on site across media advertising channels
  • Prepare and distribute marketing reports to the wider business to keep them informed of marketing activities
  • Responsible for the preparation of the marketing budget. Working closely with finance and marketing departments to ensure budgets are correctly allocated and in-line with forecasted spend

Requirements:

  • Preferably a degree or CIM qualification, not essential
  • Able to comfortably use excel to analyse and report

Personal qualities:

  • The ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously, and show good problem-solving ability with attention to detail and work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both within a team environment, and independently
