What does the role involve?

We're looking for a Graduate to join our Change and Innovation team in Group IT. Our Group IT team build market-leading digital applications and products and service enterprise class IT shared services to our diverse business units and Group Functions.

The role forms part of our 2022 graduate scheme, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself as a professional and potential leader. During the programme, you'll spend time in several key business areas, including, Business Analysis, Project Management, PMO and Transformation and will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across IT and Business Change.

In this role, you'll be introduced to a world of change and innovation, working closely with key stakeholders in the divisions and within IT. You will be involved in the delivery of project initiatives through the full project lifecycle from initiation through to live operation and closure ensuring lessons learnt are captured and embedded.

You'll also be:

  • Understanding the required business outcome enabling business requirements and scope to be confirmed
  • Planning and delivering small change initiatives using the appropriate methodology (Waterfall, Iterative or Agile)
  • Working with key stakeholders to identify and document business benefits including carrying out cost benefit analysis.
  • Ensuring that applications and services are transitioned into support and any risks are fully documented and accepted by Service / Risk Management
  • Documenting process flows using appropriate industry techniques and identifying opportunities for improvement or automation

In addition to your role above, as part of the Hitachi Capital (UK) PLC Graduate Programme you will have the opportunity to:

What are we looking for?

You'll have recently graduated and achieved a 2:2 or above in your chosen degree.

Beyond your degree, you'll flourish in an ever-evolving environment where you will have a talent for spotting opportunities to make things better.

You'll have the ability to navigate relationships using your interpersonal skills, think creatively, be adaptable and last but certainly not least, have a passion for learning.

We're also looking for a Graduate who can:

  • think differently and outside the box

Salary Package

  • Year 1 - starting salary of £28,000
  • Year 2 - increased to £30,000
