About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GR&C) and working closely with colleagues across the College, this new role will support the achievement of operational excellence in areas relevant to governance, risk and compliance.

This is an exciting and varied role, with a broad range of responsibility in the management, monitoring and implementation of best practice across a wide range of GR&C activity including governance frameworks, risk management and data protection.

Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills

This is a superb opportunity for a motivated individual with the ability to prioritise and balance a varied workload and deliver outcomes within deadlines without supervision.

Educated to degree level (or equivalent), you will have good working knowledge and experience of supporting or delivering projects relevant to charity governance, risk management and/or general compliance. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience in supporting information governance compliance and familiarity with relevant legislation e.g., Data Protection Act/UK GDPR.

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to swiftly establish credibility and confidence amongst senior stakeholders. You will possess good judgement and decision-making skills and be confident in making informed decisions.

You will be a proficient user of the MS Office suite and the ability to interpret, collate, analyse and effectively present information from a variety of sources with a high level of accuracy.

A Foundation or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection is desirable.
