Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a freelance Flutter developer working on a large-scale project for a multinational client. You will join our existing mobile team working to deliver agile feature sprints.

Day to day duties will revolve around building robust Flutter applications to high standards and quality. You should be an experienced developer and have a strong interest in learning about and leveraging new technologies. A successful applicant will be a self-starter who can demonstrate a previous track record and attention to detail via thorough planning, communication, and execution.

This job can be fully remote and we would welcome applications from anyone with the right to work in the UK.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Practical experience with Flutter and Dart
  • Platforms include iOS, Android, Desktop, Web
  • Understanding of State management strategies e.g., Bloc, Provider, MobX etc
  • Understanding of the flutter widget life cycle
  • Experience writing unit and widget tests
  • Awareness of the latest standards in mobile API
  • Ability to provide accurate estimations and work within budget
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in collaboration across teams and with product stakeholders
  • Self-sufficient and able to work alone but can also work in an Agile development team
  • Focused on performance and knows how to get the best out of their code
  • Experience working to and extending existing design guidelines
  • Ability to evolve unique and creative solutions to problems within a rapid development environment
  • A quick learner who is comfortable picking up new technologies.
