We are recruiting an experienced first-line support engineer to join the expanding IT department in the Service Delivery Team. If you’re an intuitive and creative problem-solver with excellent customer service skills this may be the job for you.
You’ll be supporting the PLA’s 400+ users across a diverse range of systems and sites to support our essential services. Ideally, you’ll have experience with Microsoft operating systems and services (including Office 365, Intune and Microsoft Deployment Tool) and Apple devices, but importantly, you’ll be able to work things out when you don’t know the answer.
You’ll need to be willing to work outside of normal working hours and provide out-of-hours support on a rotation basis. Ideally, you’ll be able to drive, but that is not essential You will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and business skills and have the ability to evaluate situations quickly and identify effective solutions. The role is suited to a candidate who is pro-active, motivated and enjoys working within a team.
