Job Description

We have a 6-month fixed term contract role for a Production Assistant who will be based in our Derby office. You will be responsible to assist with the delivery of a range of production projects across a number of different platforms including but not limited to conferences, product launches and award ceremonies. You will be working with a creative, innovate, quality and customer centric team and is a great entry level position for those with in interest in the production side of the events industry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project support for the Production team
  • Provide administrative support on a day-to-day basis ensuring that due processes are followed in accordance with department operating procedures
  • Liaise with clients and freelancers as and when required
  • Research, source and book suppliers
  • Manage crew logistics (flights, visas, accommodation etc.)
  • Support with budgets, finance processes and final reconciliations by keeping accurate costs and help with reconciling expenses
  • Own elements of projects as needed
  • Support on site events both in the UK and overseas

Your expertise:

  • Previous office / administration experience would be beneficial
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience dealing with small events would be advantageous
  • Customer Service experience would be beneficial

You may also have:

  • Knowledge of the meetings & events industry
  • Been a volunteer or a onsite member of a event project team
