This is a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of social media in an omni-channel environment, from campaign concept, delivery, analytics and segmentation, across multi-channel platforms. This is a role where you can truly be customer centric, marrying the art of creativity and science of strong data and analytical thinking.

We are looking for someone who is driven, creative, as well as data-driven, and full of ideas. The role will be very diverse and will involve input and support across all the social media platforms and will support both the UK and international markets. You will have the responsibility of managing your own projects from start to finish, as well as working within the team.

You’ll help us by:

  • Assisting in the creation and execution of social media strategy for the brand and individual product lines to drive awareness, consideration and sales across organic and paid aligned to brand, trade and multi-channel objectives
  • Providing informed, creative ideas for content marketing to aid prospect development and conversion within the channel
  • Planning, monitoring and analysing conversion rates and engagement on paid and organic social media, measuring against previous performance, industry benchmarks and other channels to gauge the performance and make recommendations
  • Briefing social content requirements, considering the audience, performance, different requirements across organic and social, social platforms and metrics
  • Utilising data and analysis to make recommendations for optimizations in the channel
  • Being comfortable using digital marketing tools and systems and supporting the upkeep of the digital marketing calendar for the social media channels
  • Raising POs for relevant digital marketing spend
  • Continuing to develop your digital marketing skills to ensure that you can support the digital marketing channel leads in testing and implementation of new acquisition channels
  • Creating a test strategy for the channel to ensure we are continually updating, improving and innovating with new formats and opportunities
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments in social media within the wider digital marketing channel, sharing these with the digital team as well
  • Communicating in a clear and succinct fashion, updating the team and wider business on the performance of the channel and any issues
  • Identifying any issues facing the channel and working with the relevant people in the business to rectify the issues in a timely manner
  • Engaging with the other channel leads to ensure that the social activities and strategy align to the rest of the channels to deliver a coherent customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Supporting the Marketing team when it comes to store initiatives, utilising the channel to maximise the performance based on the available budget
  • Being the subject matter expert in all things paid and organic social, providing insights, recommendations, and feedback to the business on the channel when required.
  • Supporting in the building of the paid social budget and phasing
  • Owning and championing the community management approach for Seasalt in conjunction with Customer Experience and brand teams, ensuring reputational risk is managed
  • Working with the CRM team to champion and build sophisticated audience strategies, aligned to customer objectives and agency insights
  • Working with the brand team and campaign planner to ensure timely, relevant execution of campaigns

The skills you'll be sharing with the team:

With experience of working in a commercial fast paced online marketing environment, ideally retail or fashion, you’ll have a good understanding of Google Analytics and search and keyword tools. Familiar with social media and Ecommerce KPIs, you’ll clearly understand the business impact of each metric.

Above all you’ll be flexible, pro-active and open to change with an excellent attention to detail. Working alongside your digital and marketing colleagues you’ll be an excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Inquisitive, driven and highly organised, you’ll be able to prioritise and manage a demanding workload.

Please note, this role is primarily based in one of our head office locations (Falmouth or Redruth) with occasional remote working.
