An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Out-of-Hours (OOH) DN Team, as part of the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service (AUCS), for 2x 24hour post of Call handler.
Within the role you will manage calls to the DN service whilst the service implements Emis web to bring the DN AUCS service into line with in hours services Pan Ayrshire.
The hours to be worked will fall in line with the DN AUCS Service requirements and will cover the overnight period too.
The post is for an initial three month period. The post holder will provide support to the DN service and manage all referrals and ensure that they are inputted to Emis Web and allocated to DN staff in a timely manner.
This opportunity is open to all Band 2 & 3 within the AUCS service to apply and we welcome your applications and supporting statements, stating your skills and knowledge and qualifications.
Full training will be given to the successful candidates in EMIS web with the expectation of a train the trainer role for the preferred candidate(s).
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake any training considered appropriate for the role.
You will be required to work as part of an integrated out-of-hours team, able to work collaboratively and in partnership with other team members.
