As one of Scotland’s finest and most iconic 5-star hotels and country estates, we are currently seeking an experienced, highly organised and professional Administration Assistant, with great interpersonal and communication skills, for this key role within our Finance team. The performance and success of our business greatly depend on this small yet mighty team. With a broad range of roles and responsibilities within their remit, our Finance department is a major pillar and an essential ingredient to the smooth running of our business. Keeping a close and watchful eye to always ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support every operation across the estate. Location; Auchterarder, just off the A9. Gleneagles is also within easy reach of a number of Scottish towns and cities: Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (50mins), Stirling and Perth (25mins).

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • You’ll be dealing directly with our members, swiftly and professionally resolving any concerns or queries, always providing a 5 star service and exceeding their expectations
  • Sending member statements monthly, collecting payments and ensuring the appropriate follow up and resolution for outstanding payments
  • Supporting Sales Ledger during peak activities, working flexibly and taking responsibility for key administrative tasks
  • Building strong working relationships with your colleagues across the estate, coming together to ensure our member billing is supremely accurate
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:

  • Ideally, you are currently operating in a similar role with an outstanding track record of success
  • You're proactive and determined, always acting on your own initiative, actively seeking out opportunities to make our service even slicker
  • Experience in using Reservation Assistant, SUN, Opera and Excel would also be beneficial however not essential
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
