About the role

As a Scientific Advisor you will be a senior member of the editorial team with a breadth and depth of experience across all core project types and multiple therapy areas. Aligned with one or more key accounts, you will be an integral member of the account teams and work closely with the editorial lead and client service lead, providing scientific leadership and delivering/overseeing scientific excellence. You will be comfortable reviewing work from a strategic perspective, beyond client-defined scientific communications objectives. What you'll do

  • Develop content, working closely with your assigned project team to ensure quality editorial implementation of all assigned-client programs
  • Support junior medical writers so that they can draft accurate, high-quality editorial content
  • Effectively and proactively communicate with the editorial, client, vendor and project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and budget
  • Provide business development support, investigate, conceptualise, and strategise new medical communications projects and publications to support the assigned-clients needs and opportunities
  • Represent Fishawack Health at client meetings, advisory boards, speaker-training meetings, business development initiatives

About you

  • Ideally 5+ years' medical communications agency experience as a Medical Writer
  • Higher degree in the life sciences; post-graduate qualification highly advantageous
