Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance department of UHS playing a crucial role in the successful running of the hospital and it's committment to patient care. The team is looking to recruit a committed individual to join as Finance Apprentices, who is enthusiastic, has great attention to detail and motivated to complete the AAT Level 3 qualification.

The 75 strong finance team provides a range of accounting services; the post holders will rotate and get experience in a number of these services gaining invaluable experience of working in a very large, professional, committed, successful Finance Department. You will play your part in supporting the departmental objectives centred around the five key principles of:

  • Leaving positive footprints
  • Making things work like clockwork
  • Having effective ‘brakes’ (controls) to allow the organisation to 'drive' faster
  • Investing in and supporting people and our workforce
  • Working collaboratively
