Portify is looking to grow our Customer Support team, who are at the forefront of our mission to pioneer inclusive credit. We are scaling fast and our Customer Support team is crucial for us to build trust with our members.
What does the role involve?
Speaking to people through our support channels - WhatsApp for Business, Email & outbound phone calls Learning to be an expert investigator - building your understanding of someone’s situation, bringing together lots of information Immersing yourself in our products and members’ needs Building rapport with members to make them want to talk about us Being a real team player Collecting & surfacing insights to the whole team, for example the different perceptions people have on a feature Thinking creatively, and getting involved in broader projects to impact how the company evolves forward
What qualities do I need to have?
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills. We’re particularly looking for people who can really put themselves across well in writing in the most human of ways An analytical, curious, growth mindset High levels of empathy A love of learning and helping people A desire to have a real and growing impact on a fast growing startup
The details
We’re looking for people who can commit to the same shifts each week - this may involve some work on the weekends This is a full time, employed role; 35-40 hours per week We’re offering a salary of £22-24k, dependent on your hours and experience This role can be remote-first - for which you’ll need to have a good work from home setup. If you’d prefer to work from the office or split your time between the two, we’re based in central London, and you’re welcome as often as you’d like We’ll provide you with the equipment and training you need to do your job, but it will help you to have access to a computer and webcam for the interview process Competitive holiday + company benefits including Vitality Health Insurance, ClassPass membership, regular socials, L&D budget and access to a work from home budget after probation (3 months) We’re looking for people to start in the next few weeks ideally - by end of October if we can Not sure you 100% fit the above details, but want to apply anyway? - Hybrid Working - We are building out a hybrid approach to working as we scale our team. We will not be going back to 5 days a week in the office, and will maintain an HQ in London where team members can come in during the week as they see fit. Employees can be based anywhere in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
