Job Description

Located in Chesterford Research Park, we are manufacturers of COVID testing machines and the associated testing components needed to carry out the tests. Working under laboratory conditions, we have a range of assembly roles needed to make these components which include but are not limited to:

  • Assembly of small components.
  • Inspection of components for defects.
  • Kit packing and labelling.
  • Operation of small-scale manufacturing equipment and tools (fillers, sealers, etc.).
  • Working to ISO 13485 and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP).
  • Follow written instructions and complete necessary documentation.
  • Perform manual and semi-automated processes.
  • Cleaning and maintaining workspaces.

Working within a small team you will need to be flexible and would be required to assist with receiving stock, managing stock levels and preparing completed goods for transportation.

Requirements:

  • Diligent, methodical with meticulous attention for detail.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination are essential. Must be able to work with consistency whilst maintaining focus and working to targets.
  • Effective communicator, able to read, understand and follow instructions.
  • Computer literate.
  • Self-motivated and excited about working as a team in a small company environment.
  • Laboratory experience is preferred but not essential.
