Education plays a significant role in the current context and future ambition of the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, and an ongoing commitment to education is a core part of the Trust’s strategy.
Now is an exciting time to join the Trust Services’ education team at UHBW which supports a wide and diverse range of education for both clinical and non-clinical development across the Bristol and Weston locations. Following the implementation of an education strategy, and as part of a newly merged organisation, a number of new and existing vacancies have now become available to help support the Trust and our external partners’ ambition, to become a beacon of outstanding education.
The post holder will lead a newly formed team responsible for the planning and delivery of the Trust’s practice development provision. The post holder will work in collaboration with internal stakeholders, across the newly merged Trust, to develop a blended practice development offer to meet workforce priorities. The post holder will contribute the team’s delivery of clinical skills, care certificate, preceptorship and support worker preparation programmes. The post requires a customer focused approach to delivery, alongside an increased focus upon developing blended learning approach to the provision outlined above. The post will develop and promote a holistic education training offer which allows synergy and flexibility of delivery accessible for all staff.
