Corporate Communications/Marketing Executive, London

Berenberg is looking to hire a Corporate Communications/Marketing Executive to be based out of the London Branch, the heart of Berenberg‘s Investment Banking business.


  • Lead the development of a integrated marketing strategy to raise brand awareness and support on investment capabilities and initiatives across segments
  • Oversight of external communications including but not limited to press releases and commentary, client and investor comunications, input on the corporate website etc.
  • Responsible for improving internal communciations to protray the firm‘s strategy, business plan and objectives to staff and promote and embed the firms culture and behaviours
  • Managing budget and resources in the analysis of the competitive landscape to draw on appropriate marketing tools (online content, interviews, webinars, roadshows, speaking opportunities, sponsorships, PR) in order to promote identified strategies and initiatives
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, database, email, and advertising campaigns
  • Coordination with the Talent Acquisition department to build and promote Berenberg’s employer brand
  • Analyze and monitor up-to-date industry news and trends; use investment and market knowledge to make informed recommendations to the business
  • Establishing excellent stakeholder relationships with the Managing Partners and Business Unit Heads and supporting them in public affairs and Corporate social responsibility.


  • Demonstrable previous experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the investment banking industry and exisiting media relationships are highly desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of investment banking clients, industry trends, product positioning and employer branding
  • High level of competency with digital marketing, particuarly with social media channels
  • Proactive and independent weay of working with the ability to lead on marketing projects and coordinate effectively with colleagues across segments
  • Awareness of and enthusiasm for industry trends, competition and best practice
  • Intimate knowledge of UK and European business media landscape
  • Personal drive to impact business results by maintaining a high level overview of projects and initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
