Position at Absolute Software

The Senior Channel and Partner Director for EMEA is a new position for Absolute Software in the region and will be responsible for both the channel strategy and day to day management and growth of partners across EMEA. This role will also manage a small but growing team to support and develop the region.

We are looking for an experienced Channel leader who can grow our partner ecosystem, get results and help us exceed our business goals, working closely with our sellers across the region to set the strategies, work with marketing to devise marketing campaigns and bespoke activities for partners, and play a key role in helping to develop the channel program.

What You'll Do

  • Set the executable strategy to identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners across EMEA
  • Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue.
  • Grow the channel team for EMEA and support them in planning and developing the channel program for the region.
  • Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
  • Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
  • Educate partners about Absolute’s product portfolio including NetMotion and complimentary services offered.
  • Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop positive working relationships with partners to build business.
  • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
  • Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.
  • Liaise with key parts of the Absolute organization including sales, account management, marketing, product, deal desk, legal & support
  • Coordinate with Absolute & NetMotion channel counterparts in different geographies

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years sales experience
  • 5+ years of successful Channel/Partner Management experience in enterprise cloud services / cyber security across EMEA
  • Proven record of exceeding performance objectives
  • Experience working with Resellers, OEM, ISV, MSP partners.
  • Mentoring and management experience, and keen to be a player coach for the Channel team in the region
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a matrix environment and carry their own quota and targets
  • Superior relationship-building skills across internal and partner stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
