Our client is seeking an experienced Interim General Manager to step into this key property in the South East of England, this role could become a permanent position for the right candidate. The General Manager will manage this 150 plus bedroomed hotel with large meeting and event space, part of an international company that has branded hotels across the whole of the UK all good sized property’s, of excellent quality, with restaurants, meeting and event space. You must be a General Manager currently and be based in the UK to apply for this role.
As the General Manager your initial role is to land running, ensuring the day to day operation runs smoothly with excellent attention to detail and the highest quality service levels are met. The General Manager will ensure all revenue and commercial targets are achieved with a focus on sales and marketing and revenue, driving the business forward. You will lead and support an experienced Heads of Department team who in turn will ensure their teams are given support, leadership, developed and focused on giving the highest level of customer satisfaction.
This role would be ideal for an experienced General Manager who has worked in various styles of branded hotels including city centre properties. You will be driven, have high energy, lead from the front whilst being very much part of the team and being visible within the hotel. With experience within quality hotels and a strong character, you will be focused on the job in hand, be self-motivated and have excellent influencing communication and commercial skills.
