Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Ensures pharmacovigilance obligations are consistently and adequately considered for all new/updated/terminated business relationships between Viatris and contractual partners
  • Liaises with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Business Development, Legal Department, Affiliates, Regional Management, Regulatory Affairs) to ensure that Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs) will be established for relevant Main Agreements
  • Reviews contractual business agreements (“Main Agreements”) and determines whether inclusion of Pharmacovigilance language is required and, if yes, whether a distinct PVA is needed
  • Negotiates PVAs with Business Partner and ensures that all relevant changes to the standard text will be approved by the responsible functions at PSRM and the Legal Department
  • Supports the development and updating of procedures, templates, tools and systems used for the implementation and oversight of PVAs
  • Supports the maintenance of the PVA database and retrieval of information on a regular or ad hoc basis
  • Collaborates with relevant functions within PSRM functions to support effective and timely solutions/responses to compliance issues/questions including audit/inspection findings
  • Managing the team group mailbox
  • Maintains inspection and audit readiness via electronic maintenance and retention of PVAs

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with related health science background
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to organize work in a logical, thorough and succinct manner
  • Knowledge of good documentation practice and quality management systems
  • Knowledge of worldwide PV regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and ability to effectively prioritise
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
