This is an unrivaled opportunity for you to join the L&G Affordable Homes business, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Legal & General, tasked with bringing much-needed, volume institutional equity capital to the UK social housing sector.

We are looking for a decisive, adaptable, and customer focused, Contracts and Performance Coordinator to join the team. In this exciting role, you will support the delivery of our outsourced housing management services, ensuring that exemplary standards of service are received by L&G customers.

You will act as first point of contact for our network of Management Providers, answering a range of queries with support from internal colleagues, coordinate performance reporting, and deliver robust contract administration in support of our operations team.

There's a clear development path for you in this role, as you will grow to act as a contract expert supporting colleagues across the business to understand our outsourced services, and to ensure excellence is delivered consistently across our portfolio.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about customer service, and in this post you'll act as an ambassador for the customer experience that the business intends to provide.

What you'll be doing

  • Take the lead by acting as the first point of contact for contract related issues across the network of Management Providers, coordinating internally with other Operation and Development colleagues to develop responses and responding promptly, ensuring LGAH meets it’s SLAs with providers.
  • Coordinate and schedule performance reviews, site visits and other meetings on behalf of the contract team to ensure LGAH maintain regular and consistent contact access the Management Provider Group.
  • Support the Contract Managers by coordinating performance reporting and payment cycles; ensuring that full returns are received from all providers, and that key deadlines are met.
  • Under direction from the Contract Managers or Head of Contract Management provide analysis and produce reports on Management Provider performance, identifying risks where relevant, or highlighting areas of strong performance.
  • Where contract change is required, act in support of the Head of Contract Management to coordinate the process, ensure all providers are notified of the change request, and keep accurate records as each change is completed.
  • Where new sites are being handed over work across the business to ensure Management Providers receive all the relevant site and asset information to allow then to fulfil their role in successfully onboarding both homes and customers.
  • Ensure our customers receive a responsive, high quality, agile and easy to access Housing Management service that always meets their expectations.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be self-driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit that embraces change and opportunity. We are a fast moving business, and this role will evolve you managing a number of tasks whilst dealing with a variety of people, so you'll need to be highly organized. Building relationships with relationships is key, so you'll need to have a flair and confidence, and work in an agile way to adjust your approach when working with different external agents.   • Previous experience in customer service and a strong interest in customer experience and what matters to customers (Essential)
  • Previous experience building and maintaining relationships for the mutual benefit of both parties (Essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Micorsoft Excel, with experience and/or interest in reporting (Essential)
  • Knowledge of coordinating equities across a range of organization simultaneously, with a demonstrable ability to ensure all are handled equally and thoroughly (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in Housing or a relevant sector would be advantageous (Desirable)
