The Social Content Coordinator is responsible for increasing brand awareness through brand focused social media.

Drunk Elephant joins our portfolio in 2021 which supports our ambition and objective to be the Top5 Beauty Group in the UK. Our clients include high-street retailers such as Department Stores, drugstores & chains as well as online pure players and specialty stores. We also have 8 boutiques and 3 direct e-commerce websites.

  • Deliver all content and social activation for owned social media channels - bareMinerals UK and bareMinerals QVC
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape and maintaining trends, awareness & new opportunities
  • Manage the content calendar that backs into trading plans and retailer needs to execute all campaigns successfully
  • Day-to-day management of social channels, including but not limited to: posting, engaging, researching and reporting to proactively maximise reach, engagement and continued growth
  • Weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting on social channels, competitor analysis and market awareness
  • Brief design agencies & content creators on imagery and video for use on social channels, email, retailer social platforms and supporting the process through inspiration to syndication – ensuring all content abides global guidelines and maintains brand voice / ethos
  • Build relations with NAMs and retailer social teams for collaborative content and partnership ideas – involved in the building and enhancement of retailer partnerships / working relationships
  • Work closely with the customer service team to monitor feedback across all social channels and advise on best response in bareMinerals TOV
  • Marketing support for team to include competitor reports, PR content, retailer social & content meetings and other common tasks across the teams

Social Media & Content

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy across all channels Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest/themes,
  • Build up and activate day-to-day calendar and content in line with marketing and trade plans
  • Create specific social plans for all launches across all platforms, tailoring content to meet best practice for the individual channel
  • Work closely with DTC to ensure all offers, content and blogs have visibility across social platforms and adequately supported with the relevant assets and copy
  • Proactively engage with customers by responding to questions and feedback in a timely manner, maintaining the brand’s TOV and encouraging further social engagement and custom
  • Monitor social media activity from our competitors and create weekly & monthly competitor review for Sales, PR, Education, Marketing & Field teams
  • Maintain and own monthly KPI report for @baremineralsuk channels
  • Attend PR and UK Marketing events to provide social media support and create content for use across all UK channels, ensuring brand TOV is maintained
  • Manage, create, brief & edit content with the Education team, bareInsiders, PR for bareMinerals UK own channels
  • Creating content for Retailer social channels
  • Briefing Global Creative Team for assets for the UK market
  • Monitoring and tracking all social sales through Google Analytics
  • Explore, identify and stay abreast of new social opportunities, channels, influencers, innovations and competitors and ensure this info is passed onto relevant people
  • Identify social opportunities for collaborations and partnerships to promote the brands
  • Commercialise social media through the use of Facebook shop, Link2Buy & strong CTA’s
  • Pull out Insta stories, PR coverage, local content and channel for reporting
  • Creating and implementing competitions for launches;
  • Creating competition theme/ concept
  • Researching suitable brands to collaborate with
  • Approaching brands to get samples
  • Shooting the content / lifestyle imagery for all social channels
  • Monitoring engagement, announcing winner, sending to winner etc
  • Marketing Support:
  • Feed into monthly Competitor Reports and issue on rotation within team
  • Administrative marketing assistance
  • Product send outs for retailers social teams & content creators.

  • Previous experience of social media management
  • Previous experience and competency in a busy operational marketing role
  • A confident self-starter with drive and motivation
  • Analytically sharp and proactive with findings
  • Superb organisational, project and time management ability
  • High attention to detail
  • A keen eye for content/creation for use onsite and on social is highly desirable
  • Passion for social and digital brand expression and technology
  • Good team player, whilst being able to work under minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, at all levels and across all functions
  • Adobe Suite proficient
  • To have worked in cosmetics or FMCG environment
  • Creative flair and outlook, particularly with a camera
  • Ability to come up with solutions quickly
  • Commercially aware
  • Expert knowledge social media analytics
  • Ability to learn and work with Photoshop software/editing tools
