Job Description

You will be required to teach First Aid training to the Royal Navy. Meeting current and future training requirements in the First Aid training facility. Teaching classes up to 24 delegates.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver instruction in First Aid in accordance of the relevant Key Learning Points
  • Examine and assess students’ performance during practical First Aid examinations
  • To provide CMS3 First Aid Training Delivery, as required
  • Undertake direct support tasks, including preparatory work and laundry for training delivery activity, post-delivery assessments and post-delivery activities
  • Act as an expert end user for all associated training equipment
  • Follow Health and Safety responsibilities of all personnel within the training facilities when conducting Training Operations

What we’re looking for:

  • Must have a Defence Train the Trainer Course certification or equivalent
  • Ability to use own initiative and work alone
  • Competent using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional level qualification in the education/training sector
  • Level 2 First Aid Course qualified

About Selborne

Project Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK, Elbit Systems UK, Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.
