Job Description

Our Client, a highly successful supplier of bespoke luxury uniforms to high profile clients has an amazing opportunity for a Studio Administrative Assistant to join their busy team. The position would suit a Fashion, Buying or Merchandising graduate with some work experience in the industry and a passion for luxury fashion.

Reporting into the COO, the role is very administration biased with experience in excel preferred.

The Role

  • Arranging bulk trim and fabrics shipments from the studio to vendors

  • Creating and tracking DHL/courier shipments from/to studio

  • Creating Style Guides under supervision

  • Keeping the studio tidy and presentable at all times

  • Preparing the studio for all meetings and making sure the studio is stocked

  • Keeping track of all samples that move in and out of the business

  • Preparing suitcase of samples for CEO to take to pitches

  • Assisting in preparation of photoshoots

  • Filing samples and keeping the sample library in order

  • Answering/manning of studio phone

  • Maintain supplies of stationary. Ordering office furniture

  • Organising and booking national and international trips

  • Assisting in preparation of catwalk presentations to client (booking models, ordering shoes, prepping studio)

  • Managing the professional printing of all design documents for clients

  • Organising the Summer & Christmas parties and ad hoc team outings

  • Assisting in organising and implementing a new office layout and outside look

  • Working on site at client fit days which can involve an overnight stay

  • Assisting in research for ad-hoc jobs

The successful Candidate will:

  • Have a keen interest in fashion, the garment manufacture industry and the luxury hotel industry

  • Be excited by the role and be passionate about helping to grow the business

  • Be highly organised and be good at multi-tasking

  • Be proficient on excel

  • Have a confident personality with have a natural flair for dealing with people from all nationalities.

  • Display the ability to work under pressure

  • Be a self-starter and an excellent team player

  • Be proactive and not afraid to make suggestions to improve efficiency

  • Be ambitious, resilient and always willing to get stuck in however big or small the task!
